There are numerous design processes developed by Universities, Venture Capitalists and Design Agencies and below are just the ones that came to mind.

  2. IDEO Human–Centered Design Model
  3. Stanford D.School–Design Thinking
  4. Google Venture–The Design Sprint
  5. IBM–Design Thinking Model

 Below are the two I've used over the past several years with teams to build experiential products.

Double Diamond–Design Council UK
Used for large organizational projects that involve emerging markets or unfocused products.

Principles Design Framework–Eli Blevis Ph.D.
Similar to Double Diamond but simplified and best for newly formed teams or redefining products.
